For the second time, I saw one of my childhood crushes Shane Filan, former frontman of Westlife, in person. Continue reading
May 25, 2013 – The day has finally come that I get to see one of my favorite bands, Allstar Weekend.
I can still remember how I reacted when I found out about the news last April 12. I really freaked out because I couldn’t believe that they are coming to my country. I thought this was impossible, but again, Music Management International made the impossible possible. Continue reading
After stalking the bands, Gem, Trish, Pauline, and I went to Glorietta to have lunch and also rest for a while. When it was already 4pm, we went to Greenbelt Park which is the venue for the Meet & Greet for This Century, Riley Hawk, Before Your Exit, Mayday Parade, and Yellowcard. Continue reading
Today is my second attempt to stalk my favorite bands. I really wanted to do this because I really love the bands on the line up. I told my parents about it and they didn’t say yes or no. They just asked who I’m going with, and if they are going to fetch me here. (Yes, they don’t allow me to take a cab alone). Thank God my friend Gem lives near my place. So we met at the lobby of our condo around 9am. Then we took the cab on the way to Intercon. I was so nervous because the last time we went there to see the LIV5 bands, we weren’t allowed to go in and we had unpleasant interactions with the guards. I will no longer talk about that shizz in this post. Continue reading

Since 2011, many concert producers have been bringing hell a lot of musicians and bands of different genres and generations, whether popular/huge/mainstream or not, to the Philippines. Back in June 2011, Miley Cyrus performed at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds. Last October 2012, the Jonas Brothers played at the newly-opened Mall of Asia Arena. This March 2013, it was Demi Lovato‘s turn to wow the crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
March 20, 2013 is one of the few “OMG is this real life?!” concert nights that I’ve had. Why the reaction? Well, it’s teen queen Demetria Devonne Lovato! I just can’t believe that I actually saw her in real life. She wasn’t only this character on tv, or the voice on my music player, or a photo. She was real — breathing the same air as I am.
My experience: Continue reading
Love the fact that Jordan keeps telling people (through his tweets and interviews – which can be found here in my blog) how much he loves Manila.
I must say I was still a bit surprised when I saw this. The first time (last year) that he said that Manila was his favorite place, I thought he was only referring to TRS World Tour 2012. But with this tweet I think he’s declaring that Manila really is his favorite.
I really don’t want to get my hopes up, but I’m really really hoping to see him (and the rest of TRS) again.
